This is a fun story submitted by my friend Christy Abbe.

A pastor was applying for the job of pastor at a small church in Central Oregon. They asked him to take the job and he said he would only if it was unanimous.  When he went to tell the story later out in front of the church  he got mixed up and said he would take the job only if it was anonymous.

I love the way it goes when you get the words you want to use mixed up with words that have a different meaning. Here is another story on the same pastor.

When Christy worked at the truck stop as a waitress the pastor came into with some friends to eat.  It was a busy day and the pastor had a booming voice and with all the people the place was pretty loud. He raised his voice and said "lets pray" and the whole cafe got so quiet you could hear a mouse.

I would have loved to have known this man, I bet he was a beloved pastor.
