Recovered Bicycle by Madras Police Dept.

Due to a concerned citizen the Madras Police Department recovered a bicycle today. A few minutes after 1 pm a concerned citizen contacted dispatch to advise he saw someone throw over what looked like a new child's bicycle into Willow Creek Canyon.  Dispatch was a little confused as to the exact location but between McDonalds and the hospital.

The police located a white child's bike in Willow Creek at the bridge on 9th street and recovered the bicycle.
If anyone is missing a boys white bike call the Madras Police during the day at 541-475-2424.

 This is the type of citizens we need in our community. Ones that care. Because of their actions some child will still be happy. I don't know who called but a great big thank you for doing so.
