Lets hope this is one of those times the weather man is wrong. Why is he always wrong when they say sunshine? Reported to be a big snowstorm coming in. I was just starting to think of spring. I even go the seed catalog out to work on my order.
I always order from Territorial Seeds here in Oregon as I do not like GMO seeds or food.
Guess I will wait to get excited about getting the garden ready to go. I even put stuff in my composter this morning. I bet I find it froze in the morning..
The poor chickens they were starting to lay better too and loved getting out of their pen the last few days to enjoy the sunshine and dig in the garden area.
Guess winter time is returning, maybe I will luck out and get some really pretty photos out of it.

Wild Horse Race 1-26-13 the little ones photos
These kids run from 5 through 12 years of age and don't know the word quit. They are a blast to watch but it scares you half to death at the same time. Been watching it for years and no one has been hurt bad as they use the little horses.
Wild Horse Race 1-26-13 The teens photos
The teenagers 13 through 18. A lot of people don't realize sometimes getting on the horse and staying on is the easy part. You also have to get your horse to go between the fence and the barrel so you can be the first one on and still lose the race.
Wild Horse Race National Finals 1-26-13 photos
This is for the national tittle the last day. Jason Smith's team won again this year. His team has won the title for years but they did it this year with the first 17 year old as a rider.
This was the winning team
Pickup men of the rodeo 1-25-13 photos
A lot of people don't think about the pick up men of the rodeo. They keep the riders safe so many times. They also take the bucking strap off the horse and get the horse out of the arena. They have to be extremely good horseman. They not only have to keep their horse under control in exciting situations but another horse bumping into them at a dead run. They also have to be able to keep themselves in the saddle while a man grabs a hold of them while the horse is bucking and hitting their horse and
get that rider safely on the ground. They are the hero's of the bucking horse riders.
I think they are the un-sung heroes of rodeo.
