Everyone gets so fascinated with Haystack Rock on the Northern part of the Oregon coast, well down here there are lots of haystack rocks and you you have the beach to yourself. I thought it was one of the prettiest beaches I have gone to on the coast. This area is drier and warmer usually too. I think the reason it is not as popular is that getting there is so much longer from Portland,Eugene and Salem areas but it is well worth the drive. It isn't a fast drive but it is a beautiful drive and a great way to spend the day as the drive is as pretty as the destination.
