Most people have heard of the painted hills in Oregon but these are just in a farmers field near the John Day River. If you want a fun drive go up to the John day and just drive around on some of the back roads and you will be amazed at the scenery and how it changes. This area has had to have a violent past with all the different effects that were left behind
