Mt. Jefferson's crown of glory

A lot of people can't tell if the mountain is Mt. Hood or Mr. Jefferson if they don't see them both at once. It is easy as Mt. Jefferson has the canoe on top of it and Mt. Hood comes to a point. So if you are in Central Oregon and the mountain has a canoe you are looking west at Mt. Jefferson.  It is also the one that the sun sets behind or near depending on the time of the year.  This time the sun set directly behind Mt. Jefferson making a glowing crown, saying "look at me!  I am amazing."

Can you imagine living in a place that you look at Mt.Jefferson every night?  It is wonderful!  I love central Oregon with a passion.
